How Taken

Drug Class and Mechanism
Glutamine is technically a semi-essential amino acid because there are times when it cannot be manufactured by the body. When the body is subjected to such metabolic stress situations as trauma, including surgeries, cancer, sepsis and burns, Glutamine becomes an essential amino acid.
Officially, however, it is classified as a non-essential amino acid. Glutamine is usually advertized in the most natural L form. D-glutamine has no biological activity.
Missed Dose
If you miss a dose of Gluta-PEP, take it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not take 2 doses at once.
Storage
Store Gluta-PEP at room temperature, between 68 and 77 degrees F (20 and 25 degrees C). Store away from heat, moisture, and light. Keep Gluta-PEP out of the reach of children and away from pets.
